March on Stirling Bridge - William Wallace
September 1297. Upon hearing of the English army's advance northward, William Wallace and Andrew de Moray marched their combined forces from the siege of Dundee to take up their preferred position on the northern side of the bridge across the River Forth at Stirling. Here, the pair would pull off a stunning victory against overwhelming superiority on the morning of 11th Sept, 1297.
